History
Since we began our journey in 1990 as the chosen partner for traditional Universities to deliver their online programmes we have constantly evolved and in 2014 we earned taught degree-awarding powers which meant that, we could also proudly award our own degrees.
In August 2015 we became Arden University – one of the few specialist, distance learning universities to launch in the last 50 years.
Education
We offer a wide range of Higher Education courses endorsed by professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Management Institute and the Association of Project Managers, as well as offering a Qualifying Law Degree – one of only five institutions in the UK to provide this course via Online Distance Learning.
We now also offer Blended Learning courses which enable students to have the best of both worlds: classroom study at one of our Arden UK study centres, alongside Distance Learning study.
Although many things have changed, our core values at Arden remain the same: to provide wide access to education and change people’s world through innovative, modern learning.
Career
Arden University has a dedicated Careers Portal that sits within our virtual classroom, ilearn, which aims to maximise your chance of getting a promotion, or taking the next step on your career ladder. For students looking for their first role in a chosen career there are a range of tools designed to give you an advantage in a competitive job market.
Our Careers Portal acts as an online Careers Centre and has tools such as an interview simulator, CV builder and global jobs search engine that can take your confidence - and career - to the next level. Plus there are employer videos and e-learning courses covering essential business skills to give you a head start.
Short Courses
Housing services
- Arden University's Blended Learning courses are designed to fit flexibly around you and your life, therefore we do not offer our own student accommodation.
- If you are considering one of our Blended Learning courses, you will get all the structure and routine of a full-time campus-based course without the full-time commitment.
- Being a student at one of our Arden study centres means you will need to attend sessions in person up to 2 or 3 days a week for our Undergraduate courses, or one evening every fortnight for our Master's programmes.
