History
emlyon business school was founded in 1872 by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is a private higher-education establishment recognized by the French State.

Medical services
The Health & Wellbeing center provide the School’s students with free, confidential, preventive healthcare, promote healthy lifestyles and provide healthcare (through medical consultations). It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team made up of nurses, an occupational health doctor, a psychologist, a disability expert and a coordinator of prevention initiatives and well-being workshops.
Campus life
When you study on an emlyon business school campus, you'll enjoy an innovative living and working environment. The school's campuses are designed to accommodate the latest teaching methods and provide state-of-the-art technology, such as 3D printers, digital whiteboards, writable walls and creativity boards. The hybrid libraries and makers' lab are perfect examples.
Sports facilities
Over 45 sporting activities are currently available on the various campuses and at sites that are either nearby or easily accessible by public transport. Offering students this wide choice of sports, all programs combined, contributes to their well-being and helps strike the right balance between their studies and their personal development.
emlyon business school firmly believes that playing sport helps develop the skills required for a successful career. Through sport, we are seeking to develop soft skills, defined as the personal qualities necessary for a successful career.
Student clubs
The school currently has over 1,090 students involved in close to 56 associations across all of our campuses. They hold +600 association events per year and manage a total budget of 3.6 million euros.
