Amsterdam School of Real Estate

The Amsterdam School of Real Estate mainly operates in and for the Dutch market. This means that most of the education programs are in Dutch, almost all teachers are native speakers and research is in (about/ for?) the Dutch real estate market.

History

The Amsterdam School of Real Estate (ASRE) is a joint initiative of the Dutch real estate industry organizations, the Dutch national government and the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Project developers, real estate agents, institutional investors, the national government and the UvA joined forces in 1989 to expand and professionalize the expertise in the field of real estate.

Education

Customized knowledge is the theme of the education program that the ASRE provides. The ASRE offers a coherent package of high-quality programs. Real estate professionals have a choice of two postgraduate programs: the Master of Real Estate (MRE) and the Master of Science in Real Estate ( MSRE).

The ASRE also offers an extensive Executive Education program. This program consists of short, seven to twelve week courses that revolve around specific sector courses or subjects, such as retail, social housing, government etc. The program also includes summer courses, in-company courses and permanent education.

Research

ASRE Research attaches great importance to its coordinating and stimulating role in the research field. For that purpose it collaborates - where possible - with external real estate researchers and with universities. The aim is to bring together the available professional knowledge.
