History
The Slovak University of Agriculture operates since 1952 in the ancient city of Nitra.
Education
SUA provides training in 88 accredited programmes of study including three in English with a view of granting the joint degree or double diploma. At present, SUA has the right to award degrees in 38 bachelor , 31 master and 22 doctoral degree programmes.

QS World University Rankings is one of the top international rankings measuring the popularity and performance of universities all over the world. They measure university reputation based on the impressions of higher education experts, companies who hire graduates, and teaching quality. QS also considers the ratio of international teachers and students present at universities, as well as the times research papers were mentioned by researchers. After calculating and comparing these criteria, QS ranks the universities accordingly.
Housing services
There are single, double, triple and quadruple rooms grouped in units – 2 rooms sharing bathroom together. Simple cooking facilities on each floor (electric hotplates, but no kitchenware), computer room, canteen, snack bar and student`s bar in the dormitory. Sports grounds and university Sports Centre is nearby.
Sports facilities
The University Sports Center, located near the dormitory Mladost offers wide range of possibilities for sport activities of students and staff.
There is a multipurpose gym, 25-meter indoor swimming pool, aerobic studio, fitness centre, tennis courts and beach-volleyball courts in the sports center.
