Overview

International Business Law at  Bucerius Law School  is designed for advanced law students and recent graduates wishing to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of international business law and gain valuable intercultural communication skills by working in small groups with students from different legal backgrounds.

Preparing for work at a law firm or company dealing in international banking, trade law or consumer transactions? Regardless of whether you are enrolled as a student or already in practice, the Bucerius Summer Program in International Business Law can help you to boost your skills in these areas and increase marketability.

By working in small groups with students from different legal backgrounds, you will be able to gain valuable intercultural communication skills while acquiring in-depth knowledge in the fields of international business law and comparing perspectives with participants from across the globe.

Socratic-style course meetings promote interactive dialogue, inquiry and close cooperation with your peers and lecturers.

Students must choose at least three courses and can take up to six.

The course-credit system is based on the American Bar Association (ABA) guidelines. European students are able to earn ECTS points. Each course is worth one ABA credit, which is equivalent to two ECTS points. Participants must enroll in at least 3 ABA / 6 ECTS credits but can earn up to 6 ABA / 12 ECTS credits. Transferability must be assessed with the home institution.
