Especially designed for eye care students, both orthoptists and optometrist, this unique course covers all the ins and outs of Diabetes Mellitus. Besides giving a complete backgroundn we want to look at the diabetes care in different countries, the ocular complications and their treatment and the social impact of the disease.
To give you as much knowledge and skills on the topic as possible, this course is organised in collaboration with 5 other universities (see fee). The programme consists of: lectures, workshops, excursions and will be case-based to make it as practically useful as possible.
Diabetes and all its consequences become an increasing problem around the world. It's time to learn more about it!
STUDY LOAD It is a full time, two weeks course. Most days, the program will last from 9 AM untill 5 PM. On days that we will visit institutes or enterprises we may start earlier or end later, due to travel time
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
