In a globalised society health professionals are often faced with complex health issues demanding inter-cultural and interdisciplinary competencies. This course sets focus on these issues and aims at developing students’ abilities to meet these demands. More specifically the course aims at developing the students’ abilities to:

Health professionals’ competences in interdisciplinary practice and the development of students’ personal and professional skills/competences with respect to health care provision in an interdisciplinary team.
Course takes place in Næstved.
Næstved is on of the oldest towns of the country and was once one of the largest Danish towns in the Middle Ages. Today the city of Næstved has approximately 42,000 inhabitants making it one of the larger Danish provincial towns.
The city of Næstved has several shopping streets full of atmosphere with specialist shops and a square where markets are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The course consists of two of 10 week modules. It is offered to both Danish and international students enrolled in health care programmes at bachelor level. The language of instruction is English. The project ends with a written product, which forms the basis of the individual, oral exam. On the final day of the first
module the groups present their work to the other students.
Credits: 30 ECTS (15 ECTS per module)
It is possible to just take the first module. Module 2 is an individually planned, clinical module tailored to students’ academic requirements.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
