Osnabrück is a beautiful and safe city, situated in the north-west of Germany. Due to its eventful history, Osnabrück is one of the 14 members of the “Historic Highlights of Germany” association.

All courses are taught by subject-specific specialists and combine lectures, workshops, time for preparation and revision, as well as several excursions. Additionally, international students who are registered for a subject class taught in English take part in one of the 30-hour German language and culture courses for beginners. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate.

Participants take part in a wide variety of cultural, social and outdoor activities, including an extensive excursion program to sights in Osnabrück and Northern Germany (e.g. the Felix Nussbaum exhibition and the German House of History in Bonn etc.). We also offer a spectacular guided mudflat hiking tour from the East Frisian mainland to the island Baltrum, an international cultural evening, German movies and much more.

In Osnabrück, the International Summer School team will tend to your academic and person needs throughout the program. Students will be accommodated in a centrally-located student dorm (single rooms with internet access).
