This course offers a practical approach to running a business in a sustainable way, by studying two business cases on location (in Northern Italy and in the Netherlands).
The programme comprises two case studies. ‘Trust in textile’ focuses on the textile sector in Northern Italy, a major industry. But with especially Asia taking over large parts of the production process, the textile industry has changed dramatically. How did this happen, and what can the industry do to survive?
These first two weeks will take place at a partner university in Northern Italy.
In the second case study students focus on the highly successful agricultural industry in the Netherlands. Covered will be changes in economical, social and geographical factors favouring this industry, with a focus on how Dutch culture influenced the expansion of the market.
Study load: Approximately 100 contact hours.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testTarget group: The programme offers a strong practical orientation on business skills.
