This course briefly introduces the main theoretical background needed for professional supply chain management. It then provides a transfer of this theory into a practical approach of business situations, to strengthen the participants’ personal international competences.
The business world is in great and growing demand for managers who do not only have knowledge and experiences in their own field or subject, but also understand the logistical processes that make things actually work. Students will focus on topics like purchasing, warehouse and distribution management, to take that to a higher level in business process integration and logistic strategy.
In this very intensive course students are promised hard work and real-time experiences. In international teams they focus on the most important aspects of the supply chain, and will experience how their decisions influence the outcome of the primary process.
Study load: Approximately 30 contact hours
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testTargetgroup: The programme is especially designed for students with an interest in logistical processes but not necessarily a strong (study) background in this field. The course has a strong practical focus. Participants must be open to experiencing their own strong and weak points in making decisions and being responsible for the implications of those decisions.
