The International Relations Office (IRO) and ALTIS, Postgraduate School of Business & Society of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) in Milan, Italy will offer "Experiencing Italian Excellence" in Summer 2011, an international summer program for business students interested in acquiring direct knowledge and experience of Italian business expertise.
The program, taught by both academic and professional experts, offers interaction and up-close exposure to the best practices of the Italian entrepreneurial system. Particular attention will be paid to fashion & design, tourism, agribusiness, art, small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), industrial clusters and entrepreneurship.

Classes will take place on the UCSC Milan Campus from June 27 until July 22, 2010. Accommodation will be provided from Saturday, June 25 until Saturday, July 23.

Field trips will be offered in conjunction with specific topic areas of the course. For example, visits to Como will correspond with the fashion and design portion of the class, while a trip to Cinque Terre or Florence will be possible while studying tourism aspects. There are two or three potential Fridays during the course when these field studies will be scheduled. For an additional charge, students also will have the option of spending the entire weekend visiting these places of interest.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Students requesting admission to the Italian Language and Culture or the Italian Language and Business Programs must take an online language proficiency test before arrival. Applicants will be given instructions upon admission on how to proceed with the online testing.
