The focus of this course is to introduce students to the specialized field of hand therapy. This course is designed to provide a deeper understanding of hand anatomy, hand movement patterns, common pathologies, and common treatment programs. For those interested in pursuing a career in hand therapy this course will provide an excellent foundation. For others, it will provide a solid base of knowledge for those occasional 'hand patients.'
This is a full time, two weeks course. Most days, the program will last from 9 AM untill 5 PM. On days that we will visit other institutes we may start earlier or end later, due to travel time.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testThird and fourth year students or recent graduates physiotherapy and occupational therapy interested in hand therapy.
Responsibility for accreditation lies with the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). All degree programmes offered by research universities and universities of applied sciences will be evaluated according to established criteria, and programmes that meet those criteria will be accredited.
