Public law deals with relationships governance between citizens / companies (individuals) and the state. Public law has sub-disciplines such as constitutional law, criminal law and administrative law. Constitutional law looks into the relationships between individual and the state. The latter can be the executive, the legislative and the judiciary. Criminal law deals with crimes committed by individuals and it imposes sanctions in order to assure social justice. Administrative law is the body of law enforced by executive branch that governs the activities of administrative agencies of the government.
